Overview

Keeping transmission fluid temperatures in check is key to extending the life of your transmission. High fluid temperatures cause reduced lubrication, which can damage seals, clutches, and bearings. Mishimoto has a solution with our highly efficient universal 13-row stacked-plate transmission cooler kit. This universal kit applies to any vehicle needing an ancillary cooler to assist in hot climates, towing, or extreme driving conditions. Our heat exchanger features a 40,000 GVW rating, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications. Within this transmission cooler kit, we include the necessary components for a typical installation. The included ¾-in-16 to 3/8-in hose barb adapter fittings feature an integrated O-ring for leak-free operation. Fifty inches of durable SAE J1532 transmission cooler hose is provided to route fluid to and from the transmission. SAE J1532 hose is explicitly designed for transmission fluids and features a spiral polyester reinforcement for increased pressure tolerance. Because routing of fluid lines is often around sharp objects or through tight passageways, we include a durable hose protection sleeve that prevents damage from abrasion. In addition, this transmission cooler includes a durable, corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish. We've included high-quality stainless-steel worm-gear clamps and 3/8-in hose barb unions for mating the hose and fittings. Rounding out our Universal 13-row Stacked Plate Transmission Cooler kit is a set of 4 universal mounting brackets and associated hardware, making installation a breeze. As with all our products, this universal transmission cooler includes the signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
