Overview

The high flow, fabricated aluminum air intake pipe and air box enclosure with dry filter assembly replaces the restrictive plastic factory parts on your diesel for improved engine performance. All new design significantly increases air flow to your turbo producing improved horsepower and torque, quicker throttle response, and cooler intake temperatures by drawing cold air through the inner fender. All aluminum construction features large diameter 4" piping with smooth aerodynamic bends to improve intake air velocity, volume, and provide more aggressive engine and turbo sound during acceleration. Removable air box lid element allows for easy visual inspection and maintenance of your WCFab filter with included hydrophobic pre-filter cover, to help keep your MAF sensor, turbo, and engine airways contaminant free. Air box is constructed of 10G aluminum sheet. Includes High Flow 4 in. Turbo Intake Horn which removes restrictions in the OEM setup to improve turbo spool and top end power. This High Flow 4 in. horn is fully compatible with OEM and upgraded drop in IHI style turbochargers. Kit includes upgraded high quality silicone boots that withstand higher pressures and temperatures than the failure prone, angled factory parts to increase reliability and help eliminate boost leaks. Includes Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (FPRV) Block Off Kit to allow proper clearance to larger diameter Y-Bridge assembly. The 3" High Flow Down Pipe is a straight shot compared to the crushed spots and curves on the factory down pipe, which helps improve exhaust flow and reduces under hood temps.
