This product group includes various connectors for special applications, which are primarily found in the military sector, but also to a greater extent wherever large currents flow and a high level of safety with simple application is important. The 12-pole 24 V system according to VG 96923 is characterised by the very high requirements in military use, especially with regard to dirt and impact resistance. The 2-pole 24 V system according to VG 96917 withstands similar requirements and is used for battery charging with currents up to 500 A (short-time load up to 10 s). The plug-in system according to ISO 4165 is used for the electrical connection of different consumers.
