Overview

UMI’s Grade 8 bolt upgrade kit is recommended when installing an aftermarket torque arm on the factory rear end and all similar rear housings that use the long through bolt design. Supplied with the kit are longer 9/16" Grade 8 bolts which accommodate the thicker torque arm mounting plates. Factory bolts will work with aftermarket torque arms however they may not have adequate amount of threads which could lead to failure and be unsafe.
