100% hand TIG welded by Peterson's welding artisans, these dry-sump system oil tanks are as beautiful as they are functional. With years of continuous development, working with the most successful race teams in the most demanding environments, Peterson Oil Tanks are built to outperform. Manufactured using formed aluminum bodies with CNC machined aluminum flanges and fittings, keep weight to an absolute minimum. The race proven tank geometry, plumbing, and baffle design provide excellent deaeration of the scavenged oil while maintaining a tall column of oil over the pickup tube, ensuring your engine never misses a beat. With capacities on standard tanks ranging from 1.5 to 5 gallons along with many fitting layouts, there is a Peterson tank available to benefit any race program. All tanks disassemble quickly for cleaning and tops rotate separately from bottom sections for easy plumbing configuration. • Built in dipstick, a male -10 AN fitting for an oil primer, a 1/2 NPT bung for your emersion style oil heater, and a convenient -12 port plug for draining your oil are the finishing touches on an oil tank that has thought of it all
• Precision machined aluminum flanges and gasket held together with a durable v-band clamp deliver a no leak assembly, easy disassembly for cleaning, and the option to realign top and bottom halves of the tank to best fit your space
• Two (2) -16 AN male fittings make a lightweight low profile connection with o-ring sealed 1 1/8 - 18” ports for scavenge return from your dry sump and they feed directly to an easily accessible integrated return oil filter.
• Tank shape and plumbing as well as an advanced internal baffle system help deliver a tall column of deaerated oil to the -16AN pick-up tube making sure your oil supply never skips a beat
• Tank includes a block off fitting (in case you only need one return) and other fitting sizes are available separately
