A mounting kit is required to work in conjunction with this product. 2003-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ use Mounting Kit 078-01; 1997-02 Jeep Wrangler TJ use Mounting Kit 038-01; 1987-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ use Mounting Kit 045-01; 1945-86 Jeep CJ use Mounting Kit 026-01.
