It locates off the top of the OEM coil bucket and then mounts the frame rails for maximum attachment and strength. This is designed for a 3.0 bypass shocks with the proper tube layout and piggyback res. Bypass mounts come raw no powder coat as they need to be welded on. We have custom FOX and King 3.0 3-tube piggyback bypass shocks made for our kit for maximum wheel travel, control and clearance since it's such a tight fit in there. No off the shelf bypass shocks will work/fit.
